Gilvesy Winery

Soil:The soil that was created via the volcanic activity is crucial in the formation of the unique character of our wines.

Winemaking philosophy: Our wines are born out of the marriage between tradition and modern technology, and they are imbued with sophistication and joie de vivre – they carry forth all the power of their enchanting place of growth. 

Váli Winery

Estate size: 8,5 ha

Vineyards: Kisörshegy, Tóti-hegy, Badacsony, Szigliget

Soil: Brown forest soil with a touch of volcanic essence of the Lake Balaton

Main varieties: Kéknyelű, Riesling, Pinot Gris,, Muscar Ottonel, Pinot Noir, Budai Zöld

Winemaking philosophy: Our winemaking philosophy is all about nature. We keep our wines simple with no artificial ingerdients.


Káli Kövek

Estate size: 20 ha

Vineyards: Töltés, Kishegy, Öreghegy, Pellengér, Horog, Sósi, Pangyér, Boncsos

Soil: These vineyards grow on soils made of basalt fragments mixed with clay and brown earth. The structure created by volcanic tuff and sedimentary rocks create rich mineral and fossil content.

Main varieties: Riesling, Rhine riesling, Sauvignon blanc, Furmint, Juhfark, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Kékfrankos, Pinot noir, Merlot

Winemaking philosophy:We are making wines that are true representations of both the unique minerality of the Kali Basin and the varietal characteristics of the grapes that grow here.

Pálffy Winery

Estate size: 16 ha

Vineyards: Csere-kút, Vaskapu, Csák-oldal, Mező-mál

Soil: Volcanic basalt base, pannonic sedimentary limestone

Main varieties: Riesling, Furmint, Rhine riesling, Juhfark, Pinot gris, Tramini, Kékfrankos, Pinot noir, Cabernet sauvignon, Syrah

Production: 30-40 000

Winemaking philosophy: We try to show what the Fekete-hegy is capable of with concentrated base material and strictly selected fruit. The aim is to concentrate the power and minerality of the place into the fewest and smallest possible bunches.


Losonci Winery

Estate size: 6 ha

Vineyards: Úrráteszi, Gereg, Peres, Virág-domb

Soil: Red clay, yellow clay in several vineyards with andesite and lime debris

Bott Frigyes Winery

Estate size: 10 ha

Vineyards: Muzsla, Öreg-hegy

Soil: The soil is clay on top of volcanic bedrock, which is rich in limestone and minerals.

Main varieties: Riesling, Rhine riesling, Hárslevelű, Zöld veltelini, Kékfrankos, Királyleányka, Kadarka, Pinot noir, Pinot blanc, Sauvignon blanc , Tramini, Juhfark


Winemaking philosophy: Our aim is to make exciting and elegant wines based on the best of our current knowledge and on local characteristics. A pure wine that’s true to nature is nothing but the sum of a series of several clear-cut and small steps – both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
